The number plates JET7 are well known amongst the rotary street scene and while the car itself recently underwent a full rebuild with a host of upgrades and now has a new owner, it's is still snapping necks just like it did when it first hit the streets as a small tyre genuine 9-second streeter back in the early 2000s.

Externally the stylish factory lines are left untouched, although now coated in a new custom shade of blue. The big change for the car is the mods carried out to accommodate the fatter rubber on the rear which we'll go into detail a bit later...
Under the bonnet the car still runs a Pac-Spec 13B as it did all those years ago, albeit with a long list of upgrades from our current parts catalogue. Wanting a sleek but purposeful look in the bay, many components were all powder coated in-house in satin black texture finish.
A sizable Garrett Advancing Motion GTX45 is now strapped onto the side the bridgeported Cosmo 13B, regulated by a Turbosmart 50mm wastegate
Inside the car remains very similar to the cars previous look with the addition of a new pair of Recaro Sportster CS seats
A major upgrade to the interior was the new Motec C127 Digital Logger Dash that replaces the factory dials and talks to the Microtech LT16C ECU that runs the show.
From this angle you get a perfect view of the cars new rear end, installed for not only looks but to help get the 600+rwhp to the ground.
Underneath, a full custom 9-Inch diff combo resides, running upgraded control arms and Strange adjustable coilovers.
For street duties, the car rolls on 18 inch FR Simmons wrapped in P Zero street rubber and looks seriously sweet doing so we might add...
In race trim though, the Simmons are swapped over for a set of RC Components Hammer-S with double beadlocks on the rear. Tyre choice is a pair of 275 Mickey Thompson Street Radials on the rear and 4in front runners at the pointy end.
While the car has yet to be raced in the current guise, the team are confident in its 8-second capability. For now tho, owner Jim is enjoying cruising the streets, letting everyone know that JET7 is back!
