The preffered underbody coating here at Pac Performance, Car Builder's new TXT 2K Tough Texture Underbody Coating is as tough and durable as you can get in a DIY format. Using the latest technology in resin coatings, TXT 2K is a High Solid Polyurethane consisting of a Part A + Part B component which when combined gives a chemical reaction making this coating go hard. TXT 2K has outstanding performance in adhesion and UV holdout.
This coating was locally designed and developed to beat the competitors and perform in Australia’s harsh environment. What’s better is we manufacture it right here Down Under, so you can be assured it's brewed fresh!
TXT 2K is ideal for under carriages, wheel houses, utility tubs, tool boxes, fender flares, caravans, trailers, chassis, industrial uses and entire exteriors if your're feeling up to it.
TXT 2K is a 2-Part paint system which comes ready to mix with paint and catalyst. Available in Black and Tintable versions the coating is thick and will give you a neat texture coating which is forgiving in covering a range of surfaces. The paint can be thinned down by adding TXT 2K reducer which will allow the coating to be applied by a conventional gravity feed or pot style gun. We suggest a paint gun with a tip size between 2.0 – 3.0mm, doing this will allow you to achieve a finer texture or close to smooth finish.
