These lightweight little Mazdas have always been popular amongst rotary enthusiasts, whether it's for street or race duties and we've worked on many builds and restorations over the past 30 years. From straight restoration projects to re-powering with late-model EFI and turbo combos, the Mazda R100 and its piston-powered counterparts the 1200 & 1300 provide a compact platform that doesn't take a heap of horsepower at all to get moving at a rapid pace.
